Adopt and Save a Life
The Humane Society of Oldham County offers rescued pets for adoption into permanent homes. The animals are available for a meet and greet before adoption. Pets available for adoption can be found on Petfinder.com, Adopt-a-Pet.com, and our Facebook page. Contact our adoption coordinators with any questions or interest. Our senior kitties are available for our Long Term Foster
Program which allows us to take care of medications and clinic visits. Ask us how that works!

Adoption Fees
Adopting a pet is a BIG decision! Information about adoption and things to consider can be found on the Application page. Not all animals are on site. If you are interested in a pet, please fill out the application and send it back to us. It does not obligate you to adoption in any way, but helps our office staff know who is interested in what animal and to contact you to set up a meet and greet if that pet is still available. If you're not sure of a specific pet, just put that fact on the application. These pets are looking for FOREVER homes.
All of our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped

Adoption fees vary due to age & specialty breeds
Cats
Senior Cats - $75
Adult Cats - $100 | Kittens - $120
Two Cats - $150 Two Kittens - $200
Working/Barn Cat - $25
